For those 18 years and older who are grieving the death of a loved one and would like to participate in a non-sectarian group dedicated to healing from lass through spiritual practice.
An eight-week series structured around the book, The Cup of Our Life, by Joyce Rupp. The book includes weekly topics broken down into daily readings, reflections and prayer. This series (no group Saturday before Easter) will promote psycho-spiritual healing through the grief journey by guiding participants in the practice of spiritual listening to others in the group. This practice enables group members to facilitate healing as well as receive it by holding space for the grief experiences of others.
There is no fee for Hospice of the Chesapeake families. Community members are welcome to join for a fee of $80. Pre-registration is required.
