Covering Costs

Hospice of the Chesapeake cares for patients regardless of their ability to pay.  Most insurance plans, however, including Medicare and Medicaid, offer a comprehensive hospice benefit that includes coverage for home care services, medication, medical equipment and supplies.

We offer the same comprehensive care, even when there is no health care coverage and when personal financial resources are limited. We will be there for you, even if you cannot afford to pay for our services.

Our social workers can provide you with information about financial resources to assist you with costs associated with hospice care services. You can be assured that we are committed to providing care at a time when it's needed most. It's part of our commitment to our patients, their families, and the community.
