CLINICAL
Admissions RNs -Provide admitting, liaison and skilled nursing visits. Ensure that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards. Utilize nursing skills to determine the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care, cultural, ethnic, spiritual and educational needs of the patient/family to develop, implement and revise the plan of care. Current Maryland RN license. Valid driver's license. Minimum two years recent nursing experience, preferably with oncology/AIDS/multi-system failure. Previous hospice or home care experience desirable. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Shifts: Forty hours weekly - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Twelve hours weekly - Every Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Case Manager RNs - Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Provide case management and primary nursing care for home-based hospice patients. Ensure that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality care standards. Utilize nursing skills to determine the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care, cultural, ethnic, spiritual and educational needs of the patient/family to develop, implement and revise the plan of care. Current Maryland RN license. Valid driver's license. Minimum two years recent nursing experience, preferably with oncology/AIDS/multi-system failure. Previous hospice or home experience desirable. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Shift: Forty hours weekly - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Licensed Practical Nurses - Under the supervision of a RN Clinical Manager, provide a flexible range of patient care services including continuous care, nursing care procedures and visits, and/or supplement the staffing and patient needs at Hospice of the Chesapeake's residential facilities depending upon organizational needs. Current Maryland LPN license. Valid driver's license. Minimum two years of recent nursing experience. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Shifts: Thirty-six hours weekly - Three 12 hour shifts: 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Twenty-four hours weekly - Two 12 hour shifts: 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Certified Nursing Assistants - Under the supervision of a RN Clinical Manager, carry out the care plan for delivering safe, therapeutic and efficient care to continuous care hospice patients, as well as home-based and residential hospice patients. Current Maryland CNA license. Valid driver's license. Minimum of one year practical experience in a hospital, nursing home or home health care program.
Shifts: Forty hours weekly - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thirty-six hours weekly - Three 12 hour shifts: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
CNA/CMA/MT - Provides patient care by delivering safe therapeutic and efficient care and personal services. Full time: 40 hours weekly 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. including every other weekend. This position is in our Landover office.
Temporary Weekend Admissions RN - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Provides admissions, liaison and skilled nursing visits. Current MD license, with minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a medical/surgical or home care environment. Special weekend shift differential applies.
Registered Nurses - Provide skilled nursing, liaison and admission visits Minimum requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current Maryland nursing license with two year's recent nursing experience, preferably with hospice, homecare or medical/surgical background. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Full time positions working four 10-hour weekdays or part time positions working 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Business Development Manager - Oversee day-to-day operations of the Business Development team and work with COO to develop and implement programs focused on growth. Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing, nursing, healthcare administration, social work or business administration. Minimum five years experience in broad-based health related setting and two years management experience. Working knowledge of government programs including Medicare, Tricare and other insurance programs preferable. Solid analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; demonstrated PC software skills and customer relationship/service tools. Full time.
