Tate Chesapeake Hospice House
The Creston G. Tate & Betty Jane Tate Foundation Chesapeake Hospice House provides a unique, home-like setting for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses living alone, who may have no one able to care for them, or who may need complex or concentrated care.
Hospice of the Chesapeake completed the 2,800 sq. ft. addition and renovation to the Creston G. Tate & Betty Jane Tate Foundation Chesapeake Hospice House in 2007. The addition includes two additional patient rooms (bringing the total patient rooms to eight), a chapel/meditation room, a library, a staff office, a great room, and additional laundry and restroom facilities.
Monetary donations made to the Creston G. Tate & Betty Jane Tate Foundation Chesapeake Hospice House offset the cost of care and are very much appreciated. For further inquiries, please contact the Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation team at
