Brand new! On the heels of the 2024 Blue Crab Fun Run, this year, Hospice of the Chesapeake has joined forces with Corrigan Sports at the St. Charles Running Festival.
Together, with your support, we’ll bring hope and healing to patients and loved ones facing serious illness and loss. Whether you run, walk, or cheer, you can make a difference in Charles County!
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
- Time: 9am to 1pm
- Location: Regency Stadium, Home of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs
- Weather: Event takes place rain or shine.
Activities:
- Family-Friendly 5K | 10K: Lace up your shoes for a fun run or walk at your own pace!
- Register as a Team: Be creative with fun attire and let your spirit shine through!
- Memorial Walk/Run: Register in honor of your loved one. Create and wear a shirt in their honor.
- Visit local community vendors: See what local vendors have to offer by visiting them at the post-race party. Vendors will have tables set up for you to learn more about them.

Schedule
- 7:00 am to 8:00 am - Shirt and bib pick-up/Registration
- 8:30 am - Warm-up activity
- 8:45 am - Opening ceremony
- 9:00 am - 5K and 10K start (Walkers: Start in back of pack)
- 9:00 am to 12:00 pm - Taste of Southern Maryland post-race party: a community event
Food & Drink
Delicious bites & sips from local food trucks and vendors will be available at the Taste of Southern Maryland post-race party. Participants will receive three (3) food tickets as part of their registration fee. Beer is included for participants age 21 and older. Taste of Southern Maryland is open to the public.
