We are honored to announce that effective Oct 2, 2020 Hospice of Charles County will become part of the Hospice of the Chesapeake organization through a fully executed acquisition agreement finalized last week.

We believe the beauty and strength of this merger is that it brings together two local nonprofit organizations to further strengthen the access to healthcare available to the citizens of Charles County. We are currently caring for 580+ hospice patients and their families every day in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties and with the addition of Charles County will reach more than 620+ hospice patients each day throughout our region. We are working diligently to protect and educate our care teams, our volunteers, patients and their families regarding COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus.
