Hospice Cup XXIX
The Hospice Cup XXIX – America's largest charity regatta – will be on Saturday, September 25, 2010. Entering its 29th year of racing on the Chesapeake Bay, to date the Hospice Cup has raised more than $7 million to support Hospice programs in local communities around the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. area. Proceeds benefit Hospice of the Chesapeake, Capital, Talbot and Montgomery Hospices.
Become a proud sponsor of Hospice Cup XXIX and enjoy a great day on the Chesapeake Bay from the comfort of the luxurious spectator boat and enjoy watching over 100 of the best sailboat racers compete. Event day tickets for sale, $250 for the full day event which includes both spectator boat and shore party; and $150 for just the Shore Party which includes open bar, live auction, and music. Join us for the post-race awards presentation and the second annual 2010 Junior Sailing Regatta, taking place on the Severn River in front of Atria Manresa at 4 p.m. The spectator boat, Catherine Marie, departs at 11 a.m. Post-race Shore Party at Atria Manresa on the Severn, runs from 3-8 p.m. For more information please visit www.hospicecup.org.
