WJZ-TV anchor Denise Koch is the perfect fit as emcee for 10th Fashion for a Cause

NEED Help?

She’s been on the advisory boards of Success in Style, Hospice Network of Maryland and the Maryland Committee for the Children.

Fashion. Hospice. Kids. That makes celebrated WJZ-TV evening news anchor Denise Koch a “shoe-in” as the celebrity master of ceremonies for this year’s 10th annual Fashion for a Cause benefiting Chesapeake Kids. The event will be hosted by Porsche of Annapolis from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 7 in its showroom at 20 Hudson St.

A fixture for three decades on Baltimore television, Koch is just as renowned for her commitment to the community. Hospice of the Chesapeake is honored that she will guide guests through this high-energy event designed to raise funds for Chesapeake Kids. The program is an umbrella of services offered by the nonprofit that supports children living with illness, dealing with the illness of a family member, or grieving the loss of a loved one.

The dazzling runway show will feature the newest designer trends and collections for the 2018 summer season. Joining professional models in helping to show off summer’s hottest looks will be community celebrities, including Pamela Adams, Kevin Campion, Jason Cherry, Carla Criste, Susan Duncan, Annie Kersey, Caelon Reed, Steven Saragiannis, Jarret Simpson, Angela Sutherland and Alexandra Verrette.

There also will be signature cocktails provided by The Fox Brothers and delicious savory and sweet bites provided by food partners Azure — Westin Annapolis and Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen.

The event is generously supported our sponsors: Presenting Sponsors — Porsche of Annapolis and The Wilburn Company; Fashionista Sponsors — Annapolis Orthodontics, The Appliance Store, M&T Bank and Bill and Laura Westervelt; Supermodel Sponsor — Annapolis Towne Centre, Waugh Chapel Towne Centre and The Village at Waugh Chapel, DataLink Interactive, Elizabeth Liechty and Rightime Medical; and Celebrity Sponsors — Carpet & Wood Floor Liquidators, Citsi Castro, Erin Gay, Foster Thomas, Inc., Mission Escape – Jason Cherry, O2 Development, Savvy Consignment, Severn Savings Bank, Souza LLC Attorneys, Sub-Zero Wolf and What’s Up?
