Acting Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer

Michael Brady currently serves as the Acting Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer of Hospice of the Chesapeake. He joined the organization in December 2017 and is primarily responsible for the financial, information systems and facilities management of the organization. As a member of the executive leadership team, he will also share in the responsibility of implementing strategic direction and effecting cultural change within the Hospice of the Chesapeake team.
In his new role, Brady will lead a team dedicated to increasing productivity, reducing organizational expenses, improving utilization of technology and growing the financial strength of the non-profit organization.
Brady joined Hospice of the Chesapeake after 19 years with the National Lutheran Communities and Services in Rockville, Maryland. In his previous progressive roles at National Lutheran, Brady managed the overall financial operations for an annual operating budget totally over $75 million for an organization that served over 950 seniors in Maryland and Virginia.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, New York and is a Certified Public Accountant.
