The Burnett Center for Hope & Healing is becoming an important resource for Calvert County. That growth and its impact will be celebrated at “Reflections: An Evening of Connection and Inspiration in Calvert County” from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at 4559 Sixes Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland.
The evening will highlight the breadth of hospice services with integrative and healing arts for mind, body and spirit; foster connections with Calvert County leaders and the Hospice of the Chesapeake team; and feature words of gratitude and inspiration from President and CEO Becky Miller. She will share the nonprofit’s vision for the future, including expanded partnerships with local healthcare providers and county agencies.
Special guest Barbara Burnett, who donated the property in memory of her husband, Robert Burnett, will be in attendance. The program also will include a blessing of the recently restored Labyrinth at Calvert Homestead, illuminated with luminaries.
All are welcome to attend to reflect, renew and rejoice in this cherished space that honors Calvert County traditions.
RSVP by Oct. 6 to Lauren Thurston at lthurston@hospicechesapeake.org. For questions, call 443-837-1531.
